{BEHIND THE SCENES}

For those of you who have wondered "what exactly goes on behind the scenes of a typical session," this is for you! And if you've never wondered what happens behind the scenes, well, my apologies......lol

To begin a session, you first need to scope out a good "spot" to start....

This is me, trying to figure out if the wind will carry the drape our model has. Oh, if you're wondering why I'm wearing blue latex gloves, it's because it was so cold that morning, my fingers were too cold to manage the controls on my camera and I had to keep them warm! (Photos courtesy of ©Deborah Dell)

Here's Deborah (another Photographer), trying out the drape, and figuring out the wind direction.........lol
Here we are discussing how to hold the drape.....

And demonstrating the pose I want her to do.........
You'd never know by looking at our model, but it was so very cold outside and the wind was blowing very hard. She was bundled up right up until we would start shooting, then "click, click , click", and then she would get bundled up again!
This is what she looked like right before a shot............
Then, it all came off, and.........voila'!
You can see some of the finished shots in the previous blog entry! Thanks to Debbie Dell, and Cindy Mitchell for all their input and assistance.

Did you enjoy getting a behind the scenes look at a photo session? Would you like to be the star of one of my blog entries? Well then, contact me and make an appointment to have your own custom session!
Did you know that you get a free print from your session with a signed model release? Fame? A free print? Great images? You have nothing to lose :o)

I'm still looking for one more couple to to participate in my project. Newlyweds, newly Engaged, twenty somethings, fun-loving, up-for-anything-actor-types WANTED! TFP compensation (time for prints). Shoots will take place in and around the Houston area, preferably during the weekday. Email me if you're interested; no size, shape, color preference!
